UK Film Poster. This was a teaser poster to promote the film. It identifies the genre straight away and is clear to the audience what film they will be watching, and instantly recognising the director as a well known one, or produced films they have earlier enjoyed will also push someone to see the film. The four characters walking across the plank are what are considered as the four main charatcers. They are seen to be walking the plank, usually associated with pirates, linking in with pirate radio.
